This weekend I did a little shopping. Rob and I are doing the envelope system and we each get a little bit of money weekly. I had been saving mine and finally decided to spend some. Since having the boys I fell into a bit of a clothing slump. What I would call FRUMPY LAND. My closet was full of basic shirts, sweaters and jeans. Shoe wise, it was converse, vans, flip flops, or winter boots. Once upon a time I had cute stylish clothes and shoes but as each pregnancy came and went I found myself tossing them into the garage sale bin. "Moms don't have time to dress cute" I often thought. Finally I decided to start working on my clothes and shoes again. I am slowly building a nice collection of "cute" things. Things that don't make me look like a bum, or like, that mom who couldn't pull herself together to go to the park.
As you can see I got some cute shirts

There was more shirts, some simple black ones, some stuff to make me look sleek and like a grown up with a job and stuff.
I also got some cute dresses. I could only find a picture of one online. My favorite part is the pockets.

Finally I went and got myself some shoes. See the back pair there on the right....those are my only dressy sandles. You can tell they have seen better days. See the flowery ones back there one the left. My sweet Katie bought those for me. I think she could tell I was in shoe crisis, and also, she knew fancy shoes would totally make me happy. Which they so did! This weekend I collected the three in front. Two very soft leathery pumps and some cute spring time heels.

These shoes make me feel SO HAWT! Seriously I put em on and felt all untouchable and sexy like.
I call these my RAWR shoes. Anywho, I bought them to wear with my, I'm a grown up with sleek black shirts and fancy work clothes outfits.

Sunday night I lovingly laid out my clothes. My cute springy yellow top, some great wide leg jeans and my brand new spring time heels. I thought I looked pretty cute.

And if not....I at least looked less frumpy then normal. I was so stoked to strut to work that morning in my new clothes, looking like a hottie, and feeling for once like I wasn't the slumdog of the crowd.

Then I opened my front door and saw this. What the fuck Reno.

Saturday it was so nice out I was sweating while I was shopping. Sunday was nice enough that the boys went out with no jackets and complaine of being to hot. What the fuck. It's like Reno sensed I was about to do something nice for myself and just sent me a big fuck you.
Stupid Goddamn snow totally ruined my fancy new sping shoes!
